Telecommuting From The Home Office
There are also growing numbers of employees who telecommute. Even some call centers such as the Hilton Call Center and some airline call centers, have their employees work from home.

Some home business owners or employees work from the corner of a kitchen table either by choice or because this is the only space available.

I'm lucky enough to have a whole room to myself for my office. Today I bought a large whiteboard to organize my freelance writing and blogging tasks.

Personalize Your Workspace
One corporate workplace I know only allows each person to display 3 personal items in their desk area. This is because these are often used by a number of people.

At home you can have what you like - a plant, art work or as many of your kids' drawings and family photos as you like.

I have my whiteboard to help with productivity. Next on my list is a lush green indoor plant. There will be no excuses for productivity then.

Ah... but then, there's procrastination. That plant has to be watered, you know.
