As far as new starts go, I've moved away from making unrealistic resolutions. Of course, you have to have long term goals, but I've found that small do-able steps are working for me.
Organization wise, I've started by taming my emails, and it's starting to pay off... a small step but it's making a big difference.

Spring is a good time for new beginnings...to re-evaluate our businesses and make some changes. Also, your idea of taking some small steps instead of being overwhelmed by large goals is good advice.
