However, a poorly planned business card can work against you. A business card needs to be an integral aspect of your business branding and professional image.
Do you make these basic business card mistakes?
- Use too many different fonts
- Use fonts that are too small for your target clients to read
- Use a color that doesn't fit your business
- Use a style that doesn't fit your business
- Have a cluttered card
- Cross out a previous employee's name and replace it with a new staff member's name
- Cross out changed phone numbers and scribble new details
- Leave off your state. Don't understimate how far afield your business card may travel
- Leave off your email

- Leave off your website
- Forget to proofread for incorrect spelling or phone numbers before printing

Business cards can make or break a client's perception, and in essence, it may be what would make him or her decide whether he or she wanted to do business with you. A poorly presented card just might ruin your chances, so I guess we should always invest on a good card.
