It wasn't too long ago, that if you told someone you work from home they dismissed it as not being a "real" job.
Work at home jobs have come of age. Entrepreneur predicts work from home business as a rising trend in 2008. There have
always been work from home opportunities and businesses.
What has changed, or is starting to change is the public perception of these.
Of course, there's a way to go yet, in full acceptance by both mainstream businesses and colleagues.
Work From Home Businesses
Work from home businesses cover everything from finance to crafts. They may be full time or part time. They may be partly home based or fully home based. Many home based businesses are million dollar enterprises.
Telecommuting From Home
Many employees retain their regular jobs, but work from home. Telecommuting is a huge growth area. Some of these work from home jobs are outsourced, locally, nationally and overseas.
Do you have a home business? Do you notice a difference in attitudes from non work at home colleagues?

I am a mom now working at home. I feel easy now. But at the beginning, it was very tough for me to make the decision whether or not to continue to work outside of the home. This book indeed gave me some help when I made the decision: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=77348&ru=279 , I am very happy I have made the decision. Now my family and my job work well. And I think this trend will be more and more popular.
