I'm very active on several social media and networking sites - Facebook, Stumbleupon, Digg,Sk-rt, Reddit, etc. Social media, bookmarking, and networking sites are becoming very powerful - almost as powerful as Google.
Sites like Facebook and MySpace grow by millions each month and if savvy entrepreneurs learn how to use these sites effectively, they can drive significant targeted traffic to their websites and blogs. It is a matter of learning how to put yourself in front of your audience on these sites.
Page rank will always be important, but it is not the only internet tool to reach your audience.
