Work From Home Scams
The Daily and Sunday Review reports that the Federal Trade Commission has cracked down on 200 businesses nationally, which "falsely presented work at home opportunities and other dubious business activities that bilked consumers out of $100 million." One of these was National Home Assemblers.

Research Any Business Before Committing
Like any small business, work from home opportunities require extensive research.

Obviously, prior research is key. But for those who are unsure about opportunities they are already involved in, a quick internet search about the company, often yields useful information. 

Search Terms To Find Work From Home Scams
Use search terms such as the company name or "[company name] complaints", "[company name] scam", "work from home scam" or "home business scam" etc.
