The Sunday Mail reports that much of the online buying frenzy is "logged during work hours." Shopping online at work appears to be a growing trend in the US as well.

Their business development manager, Ryan Murtagh told The Sunday Mail -
Traffic spikes at 3 p.m., which could be atrributed to office workers having more time to browse and shop on the internet during the late afternoon once daily tasks have been completed and work is less busy.
