10 Ways To Thank Your Staff

Valuing staff is key to a small business.

As well as valuing staff as a personal and business mindset, we need to be explicit about letting them know. Don't just assume they know already.

10 Ways To Thank Staff

  • Thank indivdual staff members in person face to face or by phone
  • Thank indivdual staff members in person face to face or by phone
  • Acknowledge individual contributions at staff meetings
  • Acknowledge group contributions at staff meetings
  • Send a hand written thank you note
  • Send a brief but sincere email thanking them 
  • Nominate them for an award & let them know
  • Give them e.g. a monetary bonus or movie ticket with a note or in person
  • Thank them and give them positive feedback
  • Thank them by name

I think the most effective, impressionable way to thank any staff is just saying those two lovely words, "thank you." Of course, steak dinners aren't bad either!

I absolutely agree, especially if it is sincere and heartfelt and not the "Thank you for shopping at XYZ" style of Thank you.
