
Speed interviewing is an interesting new recruiting trend, based on similar principles to speed dating.

In speed dating, men move around a room from table to table.
They are asked questions by the girl, in the hopes of meeting a possible partner.
The aim is to cut to the chase in as short a time as possible, and find common ground and shared interests. Then both can make a decision to swap phone numbers with a view to a possible date, or whether to pass and move on.

Speed interviewing is similar in that participants and employers who feel they have "job chemistry", may arrange to meet again for a formal job interview.
