So, how many times have you tried to send a large file to a client and had it come back undeliverable because your email provider (or theirs) won't allow it to be transmitted? I know I've had it happen several times and it's never enjoyable.
That's why I found this article, "File-sharing is the new email", of interest. I'm definitely guilty of trying to send a half-dozen (or more) photos or documents to someone at once, all attached to one email. After all, it makes my life easier to just stick them all on one email like a handful of little yellow Post-Its can be stuck to a manila folder.
Except for that dratted mailer demon. *sigh*
I love this concept of a file-sharing service working similar to an IM program (to which I am now addicted, thanks to Yahoo! Messenger, Skype and MSN Messenger).Keep an eye on these three "sleeper" companies, especially Pando. It will definitely be fun to watch and see which one comes out on top and whose service is most useful, especially for those of us who are sending professional items in addition to those dozens of family photos!

One that i use is http://www.yousendit.com It's real easy to you, just zip up your files (up to 1 GB), upload it and then it emails the recipients with a link to download it. Another one I just saw is http://www.dropsend.com
