Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero over at RedHotCopy has passed on information to her e-news susbscribers about Michael Port's new release, Book Yourself Solid, that I think you'll be interested in. Apparently the release on Friday was a smashing success (you can find it on Amazon.com, actually), but today's email was a little different. It included a link to a funny spoof on American Idol that may brighten your day a bit.
Now, I'm no Idol worshipper myself (although I have been known to watch the first show or two just to see folks way braver than me get up in front of three celebrities to try out), but this was chuckle-worthy. You can also sign up for his e-newsletter and get a free chapter from the new book. Nothing like being able to "try before you buy". Not a cartoon watcher? It's still a good example of how to successfully market yourself and a new product or offering by appealing to your consumer's sense of humor and interests. Bravo!
