May 1
Blogtipping Day

Easton Ellsworth over at Business Blogwire declared today, 1 May, an official "blogtipping" day.  Considering I live in an area where, well, cowtipping has been known to happen (stop looking at me that way, I swear it wasn't me!), this gave me a real giggle.  And then, lo and behold, good ol' Martin Neumann of Small Office Herald went and tipped me when I wasn't looking.  I don't think I've blushed this much since Know More Media gave my blogs their makeovers!

All this is a fun tongue-in-cheek way to show how entrepreneurs can network.  How many of you, like me, deal with colleagues who are hundreds, or even thousands, of miles away and feel like you are really enjoying their company, even without ever truly meeting them?  Gotta love the camaraderie of the blogosphere.

Speaking of fun...stay tuned.  I'm going to be doing some tipping of my own in a moment here!  <grin>

Melonie, thanks for injecting your own personal style and humor into this fun little blogtipping meme! Remember that we plan to go blogtipping every month on the first day of the month. If you decide to go blogtipping on another day, that's fine, too - just know that the authorities might be watching! (As if there were a season set aside for legal cow - I mean blogtipping.)

Looking forward to what you have to say!

It's fun isn't it, Melonie.

Now seriously, is this cowtipping thing real or a myth. eg: Can you tip over a cow? :-) And if you can, why hasn't something been placed on YouTube...

Easton, I think you've created a monster, frankly. I don't know if I can wait a whole 'nother MONTH to go cow, er, BLOGtipping.

Martin...of course it's a myth. *ahem* And I'm sweet and innocent, so of course even if it could be done, I would never, EVER have participated in any such attempts to tip a cow. (Although I was chatting with a friend in law enforcement yesterday who had to leave suddenly...to go move a cow out of one of the main roads in our town. But I digress.) One would never really tip over a moo, of course, because that would be incredibly funny...um, unacceptable.

Just in case any authorities really are watching, I truly have not (seriously, really!) actually personally tipped a real cow in my lifetime. I dated people who tried in high school...but never heard of any successes.

One guy did get chased to the fence by a bull though. Now THAT is funny.
