I don't know about you, but I'm always wondering if there's someone out there who can walk me through some basic ways to streamline or speed up my computer systems. After the great laptop spyware spanking of March, I'm a little hesitant to fiddle around with things myself. (Didn't help that the software I installed to eliminate the spyware instead eliminated my laptop!)
This article over at Yahoo! News, however, looks helpful and fairly idiot-proof. In other words, it walks you through some steps for making Windows XP work smoother (or faster) for you, and the steps made sense to me, the non-tech guru. Stop on by and read over George Jones' "Top 10 Windows XP Tips of All Time". Once I have my laptop back on tap, perhaps I'll try some of these on one or the other of the systems myself!
