Once again, my neighbors up north have caught my eye with some interesting looking resources! This week it seems the banks across Canada are conspiring to make me wander off for hours through their article archives. Whether you're looking for funding, financial planning advice, want to start a business, acquire a business or sell a business...goodness, it's all out there for the learning!
Canadian small business owners, check out these links for e-newsletters, workshops and other items of interest. Here's the tip of the iceberg from the bank folks:
- Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC): A financial institution wholly owned by the government of Canada whose mission is "helping Canadian entrepreneurs grow and prosper".
- Royal Bank of Canada (RBC): Offers multiple banking services, of course, but their women's resource page is chock full of information, including the opportunity to nominate a successful woman entrepreneur for the 2006 RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Awards.
Don't forget to email me (Melonie{at}SmallBizMentor {dot}com) with your suggestions as well.
