Rachel Bridge has an interesting opportunity UK entrepreneurs-to-be should apply for. The Sunday Times is looking for folks who will be starting a new business within the next few months so they can select three start-ups to follow from, well, start-up to success (or not).
According to the article announcing the series, one in every three business start-ups in Britain will fail during its first two years of existence. This series will track three budding businesses through their trials and triumphs and put the information out there for other business people to learn from.
The upside I see here? Free publicity for brand spankin' new companies. The downside? If you fail, an awful lot of folks will know. Is it a good gamble? I vote yes. If any of you SmallBizMentor visitors are in the UK and apply for this opportunity, let us know if you'll be featured so we can all follow along and root for your success!
