Have I convinced you yet that "going green" can be good for you, the environment and your wallet? If not, you'll want to check out this article over at CNNMoney.com. As I suspected, I'm not the only one that sees an opportunity for small businesses to do some good and get some good PR. According to this piece, companies are earning greenbacks not only through their own conservation methods but also through helping other organizations green up.
Take the FiltaFry business discussed, for example. Cleaner oil, less waste, healthier food; what's not to like? Rapid Refill and PostNet are excellent examples too. Business owners can keep an eye on these companies, because they'll help you save money or space. If you don't need all those packing peanuts, why not take them to a PostNet franchise near you? (And I'm willing to bet franchise owners appreciate the supply refills themselves.)
Good for the goose, good for the gander...and down the line, good for all our little goslings!
