Speaking of spring cleaning, when was the last time you went over your website or blog with a fine tooth comb looking for broken links, outdated information, typos and the like? It's vital, of course, that your website be updated frequently, but it's one thing that too many business owners let fall by the wayside.
Thanks to a reminder from Guerrilla Marketing's weekly e-zine, I was reminded of the importance of this and came across this company: Edit.com. If you're not maintaining your website yourself already, you might want to check out their services. According to their site, you can either type edits yourself ("right into your web pages") or you can hire one of their techs to do it for you.
For those of you who keep paid webmasters around (or who have a savvy teen in the home who provides website maintenance and TiVo programming for free), make sure they are reviewing the site, page by page, checking for broken links. If you aren't the best speller around, be sure to ask an editor to pop by whenever you post new content. Better yet, send them the information in Word document form before your web guru posts it...that way there's less to fix and less chance a potential client will be turned off by typos and spelling or grammatical errors.

GREAT tip! Thanks, Melonie. I'm going to check into them.
