Whether you are a freelance writer who has plenty of true-life stories to share or a business owner/operator with wit and wisdom to spare, this contest is something to try. The winner of the contest will receive not only $5,000 but also a chance to collaborate with a literary agent on a book proposal and the opportunity to be published in a future issue of Glamour magazine. Since we all know that establishing yourself as an expert is a good helper in the business world, and getting your name out via contests and community involvement is great PR, winning this contest wouldn't just be about the cash involved. (Although, if you win and don't want the money I'm sure there are plenty of us who would take it. <grin>)
