What do you think of my new look? I'm so happy with the fantastic folks on the Know More Media web team. Two new looks in one week. (Two? Yes...pop by and see my new glow over at Workerette.com too.)
As I told my Kidling yesterday as I drew a pathetic version of an owl for her, I'm no artist...I'm a writer! I leave the artwork and design to the pros; these kind of things are exactly why I do it. What do you think of the new looks? I got a real kick out of the fellow looking up at his mentor, personally. Lovin' the color scheme too. This is fun...I feel so, so, special! Shiny and new. (Yes, '80s fans, I know what song you'll have stuck in your heads now. <grin>)
As a small business owner or operator, you have to be prepared to delegate authority and responsibility to those who have talents in areas where you lack strength. Freelance writers are most accustomed to this, I think. After you get used to dealing with editors and artists who each have their own take on "your" vision, it's a wonderful way to come to realize that every "good thing" doesn't just come from a single entity. Teamwork abounds here at KMM and I'm just gushing about it. Splitting my seams, I suppose.
