Looking for a book that will give you some basic insight into why some folks become pack rats or don't fall under the "Perfect Polly" of organizing when it comes to their offices and homes? Need some inspiration and a little bit of the warm-fuzzies to get you going?
The Only Clutter Control Book You'll Ever Need (F + W Publications, 2004) may not truly fulfill the title, but it will come close. This book delves into the hows and whys of being disorganized and getting organized, and it also gives you a step-by-step plan of attack for getting every room of your house decluttered and organized, including the home office. The first few chapters of the book deal with the stress induced by a chaotic environment and the section about maintaining your work space discusses not only the home office but also touches on thoughts to consider about your career to cut down on stress no matter where your work space is.
Good stuff, especially if you're not the type that cleans and de-clutters to de-stress. Which reminds me...time to dust!
