One of the hot topics on my mind this week is branding. No, not cattle...businesses. (Although a cattle brand might make a mighty fine logo, depending on your field. I like it. Hmmm... I digress!)
Anywho, when it comes to branding, it's important to try to decide in advance the image you want your company and products to project to the public, most especially the buyers! Maybe I say it too much, but advance planning is always a good thing when it comes to branding your business. Consider very deeply what you want to say about your products and what you want them to say about you.
Speaking of "good things", love her or hate her, this is one area where Martha Stewart has proven her expertise. According to Mark Naples, Miller Brewing Company is refocusing on this concept as well. Lessons to be learned everywhere!
(And just for reference, The Martha Rules [Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. 2005] is a very good thing for the entrepreneur to read.)
